It's Friday

I know. I know. Usually on Friday, I showcase another Blog. However, since we were out of town for nearly a week, and have had other things going on here, I have not done much searching. Therefore, I have not found a new blog that I love. 

So, instead, I have decided to do another Friday Fill in, and invite you to share your answers as well.

1. It's cold and TOO EARLY TO BE AWAKE.

2. MY HUSBAND IS ALLERGIC TO tomatoes.

4. I WISH I STILL HAD HORSES SO I COULD GO FOR  a nice long ride.

5. Well, first of all I HOPE HUSBAND GETS INTO MICHIGAN NEXT YEAR.

6. SPELLING BEE; those were the cast of characters in a recent dream and it was SAD, BECAUSE I LOST TO THE 6TH GRADERS. 

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to NO ALARM, tomorrow my plans include YARDWORK and Sunday, I want to LEAVE THE HOUSE WITH MY HUSBAND!

i LOVE THE fRIDAY fILL-iNS bLOG. i LOVE TO SEE HOW PEOPLE INTERPRET THE DIFFERENT STATEMENTS. sOME ARE FUNNY. sOME ARE VERY SERIOUS. IT's LIKE MAD-LIBS, LITE.

hERE IS MINE FROM YESTERDAY. 

1. Apples are to oranges as __LEMONS ARE TO LIMES___.

(I wasn't really sure how to answer that. Nothing would come to mind!)

2. _BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH...____ and that's all I have to say about that.

(Sometimes this is what I hear when people say "Oh, one more thing.")

3. I think I hear _MY PHONE RINGING____.

(I stay on the phone a lot. So much so that when I am not on the phone, almost any sound makes me reach for it, in case it is my ringer! Sad, I know.)

4. _AMERICAN____ flag.

(I am a US Air Force Wife. Enough said.)

5. Do what you want to do, but _ACCEPT YOUR CONSEQUENCES____.

(I am a firm believer in this statement. I wish more people believed in the second part!)

6. _HE WAS RUNNING DOWN THE SIDEWALK____ and behind him was a Radio Flyer wagon; in the wagon was a bucket filled with _WORMS____. (No idea what possessed this one. It just seemed like a silly answer!)

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to _SEEING MY MOM AND SISTERS AT FAMILY GIRLS WEEKEND____, tomorrow my plans include _SITTING ON THE BEACH AND DRINKING MARGARITAS AND PINA COLADAS____ and Sunday, I want to _MAKE VACATION LAST ONE MORE DAY____! (A weekend at the beach with my mom and sisters. No husbands, no children, no dogs. What ever will we do with our time? Oh yeah, sit on the beach and drink margaritas and pina coladas!)

I know it has been a while since I got new stuff posted. I was so focused on doing my first show. Excuses are over. Now that I have my studio back, next week I will start the photo process and get some new things up. I have over 150 pieces sitting here waiting patiently to get their picture taken!

Etsy Findings Day

It's Wednesday. Etsy Findings Day. I spend (probably) way too much time looking at the work of other Etsy artists on some days.  I find all kinds of items that I love so much! Recently, my searches have leaned more towards more environmentally friendly products or ones primarily made from natural materials. Last night, as I was procrastinating cleaning my studio, I came across this super cute pirate play set.
