This is actually an inexpensive little treasure. At only $13 it is a great find! Wear it to give a little dressy to jeans and a T-shirt!

Structure

Okay. I have decided that it is time for my blog to have a little more structure.  So, Starting tomorrow, I am going to follow a set up. I may add in other little things from time to time, but these will be pretty set.

MONDAY-  A GIVE AWAY OR A FREEBIE
This may come from me or it could be something going on by someone else. I will           provide a link if it is someone else's give away or freebie.

TUESDAY- MY OWN FAVORITE
Each Tuesday I will show off one of my own items. It could be jewelry, or it could be something else that I do.

WEDNESDAY- ETSY FIND OF THE DAY
On Wednesdays, I will present you with an item on Etsy that I like from another seller. These could be anything at all, so be sure to look out for great items!

THURSDAY-FREE SHIPPING THURSDAY
I will either offer free shipping across the board on Thursdays, by providing a code for you to enter, or I will offer free shipping on a specific item. These codes will be good for until midnight on Thursdays. As long as the item is purchased and paid for before midnight, the shipping costs will be refunded within 24 hours, usually within an hour.

FRIDAY- ANOTHER BLOG FIND
I will link you to a fun article or find on someone else's blog. If you know of a great blog that you would like to see featured here, please let me know!

WEEKENDS- Check in on weekends. There could be a great deal posted.

Hopefully, with a little more structure, things will get rolling a little better!

Last Day- and Some Good News

It is supposed to be the last day for the giveaway below. I am going to extend it until this Friday- April 3rd.  I have been ill, and have not spent much time advertising it.

Now for the fun stuff- I am going to be a jewelry vendor at a pageant at the end of April. I am super nervous about it, but really excited. I am trying to make at least 5 new pieces of jewelry a day to build up my inventory for it. With any luck, I will sell it all! :) I got very intimidated by the thought at first... I didn't feel like I had enough glitzy glammy stuff for pageantry... then I was reminded that pageant participants are not in full formal wear every day. I felt like such an idiot! :) Now, however, I am excited and working on my display system, and looking forward to the big day!

Here is a link to the my shop- Jubillie.

I hope you have a great day!

Happy Birthday Chris!

Today is my little sister's birthday.  I would like to wish her the very best happiest birthday ever!

I am uploading my princesses to my shop today. Check them out here.  I actually only have three to start, but there are more on the way. Eventually, I will seperate the jewelry from everything else. But, for now, they will just have to be together!

Weddings and Things...

There is a lot of wedding talk lately around here. Both my sister and I have a few weddings to attend this year. Yesterday my cousin and I went to David's Bridal for her to try on dresses for when she is the maid of honor in an upcoming wedding.
I am going to attempt to do a wedding portrait this weekend. I have been married almost 3 years, but never succeeded in getting one... so, we are trying again. This is me on my wedding day with 3 of my bride's maids:

I wish I had known about Etsy when I was wedding planning. If so, I might have scored something like this bracelet, from seller Lazy Angel, back then!! I love it!

In the mean time, click HERE to head over to my site, and check out my pieces... I will be adding more new stuff one the company parade finishes at our house!

Frustrated

This morning I woke up a little frustrated. I had 2 sales on my Etsy site, and then nothing. I am starting to doubt myself, and the wisdom of this plan of mine! I am hoping that this feeling is just because I had a bad night of sleep. I will revisit this thought tomorrow. I am spending my last day with my cousin before she leaves... tomorrow I will get back to actively pushing the site, and trying to make it publicly findable! In the mean time, please go check it out! www.jubillie.etsy.com

My New Favorite Piece

Earlier this week, on www.jubillie.etsy.com , I sold my favorite piece that I currently had listed. This morning, I woke up with a new favorite. You can click on the picture to go see it!

I called this piece my Down Town Brown Necklace, because it really reminded me of when I used to go downtown with my friend Heather and my sister Chris.  I miss those days... though, when I really think about it, I think what I really miss is being able to hang out with my friends.  That is why this piece made me happy... it reminded me of the old days!

Welcome to My First Blog.

Recently, I was given the opportunity to pursue my art on a full time basis. I do not know if it will ever become a means to a full time type of income. However, while I have the opportunity to do it, I intend to make the most out of it. You can find my jewelry and other work on Etsy at www.jubillie.etsy.com .

Here in my blog, you are likely to find little snippets about my work. Hopefully, I will be able to share the processes that get me to my final product, and the journeys I take along the way to get there.

Yesterday, I made my first sale on www.jubillie.etsy.com . I hope that in the future, I have many sales a day. For now, I am happy with my meager little begining!
